Northwestern Law students have access to the most interdisciplinary and highly-credentialed research faculty in the nation. No other law school can boast as high a percentage of PhD-trained faculty members.

Empirical and interdisciplinary study of law and legal institutions sets our faculty apart. Additionally, our faculty actively influence the leading public policy issues of the day, whether in testifying before Congress on corporate financial irregularities or organizing a conference on the Humanitarian Crisis in Darfur and the Republic of Congo. And, because we have one of the lowest student-faculty ratios, our students enjoy an unusual amount of individual access to these scholars, even after graduation.
